Short biography
Aleksandra Luszczynska is professor of psychology at University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Wroclaw, Poland, and associate research professor at Trauma, Health, and Hazards Center, University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, USA. She was lecturing at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, and University of Sussex, United Kingdom.
Aleksandra is past president of Health Psychology Division, International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP), the editor-in-chief of Anxiety, Stress, & Coping, Associate Editor of Applied Psychology, Health and Well-Being, Fellow of EHPS and IAAP.
Her research deals with psychosocial resources facilitating adaptation to illness, posttraumatic recovery, developing and evaluating health-promoting interventions.
